Photos of my tour of Wimbledon in 2007

Retractable roof being built over center court finished in 2009

In addition to Center court and court one they are 19 outdoor courts like the four shown here.

The media center where all broadcast is done

Underground parking below the courts for all VIP

These courts are owned by the All England Tennis Club and to be a member you have to be sponsored by at least eight members. There is a waiting list to get into this exclusive club.

Some of the outdoor courts have  non reserved seats all other reserved seats are sold by lottery so you cannot ask for a specific date or event.

There is an underground tunnel to most of the courts so I guess its difficult to see the players up close and personal..

I did not get a chance to see center court as it was under construction but we had a tour of court one that seats around fifteen thousand.

Some of the official suppliers. Nestle the company I worked for 30 years before retiring is on the list. I wonder if they have any complementary passes for retirees?
